Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University (MKBU) has taken several noteworthy steps in line with the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP-2020):

• In September 2020, MKBU launched a teacher awareness program with 16 NEP-2020-themed webinars.

• In August 2021, a program focused on research, innovation, ranking, and technology in education was conducted.

• Appointed an NEP-Nodal officer and task force to enhance NEP-2020 implementation.

• Embraced the Gujarat Government's SOP for NEP-2020 on July 27, 2023.

• Approved a new 22-credit structure in a joint council meeting on August 17, 2023.

• Proposed new curricula based on the credit framework and local context.

• Published curriculum baskets for various programs on MKBU's website.

• Created a dedicated NEP sub-portal for students to adapt subjects based on SOPs and NEP-2020 goals.
