Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS) Portal
· Gujarat Common Admission Services Portal (GCAS) is a visionary portal launched by Education Department, Government of Gujarat to streamline and simplify the admission process for graduate, post-graduate, and Ph.D. programmes in various faculties across 14 Government Universities and its affiliated institutions/colleges.
· Students will be able to register for admission across Arts, Commerce, Science, Education, Law, Rural Studies, Physical Education, B.Ed., and Ph.D. programs through GCAS Portal only.
· GCAS portal is available in both English and Gujarati Language.
· Students will have to register online on the https://gcas.gujgov.edu.in.
· Students will have to register their mobile number and email address by filling their primary information. The username and password will be sent to the student's registered email ID and to the registered contact number.
· Registration will start from 01 April 2024 and after the results, students will be able to lock their registration. For more details regarding online registration visit: https://gcasstudent.gujgov.edu.in/applicants/QuickRegistration.asp
· The student is required to upload their basic profile information, academic information as well as necessary school leaving certificate, marksheet, caste certificate, income proof, scanned photograph of the student and signature etc. on the portal.
· The student will have to choose the degree course, University, or its affiliated institution / college he/she wants to take admission in.
- Students are required to pay Rs. 300/- registration fee on GCAS Portal through online mode.
· The filled details will have to be reviewed and the application has to be finally submitted by the applicant.

Students will initially register on the GCAS portal by uploading the documents available to them. Any remaining applicable documents must be uploaded while the registration form is locked.

A Recent Passport-Size Colored Photograph of the applicant with a white background and visibility of both ears.

2. Signature Sample

Applicants’ Signature in black/blue ink on a white background. (in jpeg or jpg format)

3. Marksheet of Higher Secondary
Examination (HSE)

Scanned Copy of the Original document in pdf or jpg format. All the information should be clearly visible.

student has done 12th from outside
