HEMCHANDRACHARYA NORTH GUJARAT UNIVERSITY, PATAN

HNGU is prepared to introduce five-year integrated courses and four-year honors degrees in various disciplines in alignment with the goals of implementing NEP 2020.
The university is known for its funded research projects in areas such as blockchain technology, natural farming, bio-plastics, and more, supported by agencies including DST and government funding of Rs. 1 crore for tourism development.
HNGU has also won two medals in the India Inter-University Fencing Championship 2022-23 at Jammu University and different national games. The university has prepared two gazetteers for Patan and Aravalli districts and submitted them to the Government of Gujarat.
HNGU has implemented NEP 2020 from the academic year 2023-2024, starting at the undergraduate level in the first year. The university provides various courses at the first year of graduation, including ability enhancement courses, multidisciplinary courses, value-added courses, Indian Knowledge System courses, and Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC). These courses are offered across all the faculties.
The university has initiated the process to establish a Center for IKS Studies. In addition to its existing 37 working MOUs, HNGU has recently signed MOUs with Brahma Kumaris, a spiritual group, as well as the Stone Artisan Park Training Institute and Tally under SEC.
