SARDAR PATEL UNIVERSITY

The university operates outreach centers such as the District Community Science Centre, Community Radio Station, and Museum. Recently, Sardar Patel University established SPU-SSIP-Navdhara and a Section-8 Company SP-SEC to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among its students.
The university is also in the process of implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 by revising syllabi and introducing a variety of courses. Additionally, the university has set up a state-of-the-art video recording facility to offer courses under MOOCs.
To promote Indian Knowledge System, Sardar Patel University has established the Maharshi Vedvyas IKS Centre, which supports seed money research projects in IKS. The university has initiated the Prashnoparishad quiz series.
For students preparing for competitive examinations, the university has established a Career Development Centre.
The university encourages students to engage in extracurricular and co-curricular activities by organizing events. The annual Youth Festival showcases students' talents in cultural activities. The Padmashree Lecture Series invites Padmashree awardees to motivate students and faculty members.
In alignment with the International Year of Millets declared by the UN, the university organized a Millet Festival in December 2022, featuring millet-based food and products.
