SHREE SOMNATH SANSKRIT UNIVERSITY, VERAVAL

Shree Somnath Sanskrit University in Veraval has undertaken several substantial initiatives in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020:

Introduced a four-year Shastri (B.A.) program, enriching its academic portfolio.
Expanded its academic offerings by incorporating 19 diploma programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, which also includes seven undergraduate diploma programs available through distance education.
Broadened its reach and impact by offering online short-term programs in various disciplines over the past three years.
Launched research projects, including the Seed Grant scheme, and actively engaged in the Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP) to foster research and innovation.
Forged 25 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to enhance the quality of book publications and research activities. The university has notably published four volumes of "Vaiyakaranasiddhantabhushanam."
Provided access to Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) for curriculum development and scripture refresher programs, ensuring the availability of current academic content.
Established an International Student Advisor's Office, currently accommodating two foreign students pursuing traditional Sanskrit studies at the university.
